“A guy who DMs me every other day with the most random shit (e.g. look at the sushi i just made!). Not directly flirty. Just sweet and goofy and he's very very emotionally immature and unserious but I'm not quite sure what he's thinking. He starts 90% of our conversations and sometimes doubles, triples, quadruples texts even if I don't respond right away.”

How it works
- 1
Ask anything
Type a question or upload a photo of your product, design, or idea. Optionally tweak the audience: "assume everyone is over 55", "only skeptics", "parents with young kids".
- 2
The crowd answers
Up to 1,000 AI personas respond at once, each from their own background: a 34-year-old nurse in Ohio, a 67-year-old retired teacher, a 23-year-old barista. You watch the opinions stream in live.
- 3
Read the verdict
You get a full report: sentiment breakdown, what the crowd agrees on, where they clash, surprising insights, and every individual opinion, searchable and filterable. Share it with one link.
What people use it for
Idea validation.“Would people pay for a subscription sock service?” Get the objections before you build anything: pricing pushback, trust concerns, who actually wants it.
Design and product feedback. Upload a logo, landing page, or packaging photo and hear what a thousand strangers notice first, what confuses them, and what they would change.
Naming and pricing. Run name options or price points past the panel and see which one wins the vote, broken down by age, income, and skepticism.
Settling debates. Is a hot dog a sandwich? Should you text your ex back? Sometimes you need 1,000 people to weigh in so your group chat can move on.
Common questions
How does 1kopinions work?
You ask a question, and up to 1,000 pre-built AI personas answer it. Each persona has its own age, job, income, location, values, and personality, so you get a spread of perspectives instead of one generic AI answer. The responses are then synthesized into a report with sentiment breakdown, consensus points, and key insights.
Are the opinions from real people?
No. Every opinion is generated by an AI persona, not a real survey respondent. The personas are modeled on diverse demographics to approximate how different kinds of people might react. Treat the results as directional signal, not statistical research.
Is it really free?
Yes. Asking questions, getting reports, and sharing them is free with no signup. The site is supported by ads.
What kinds of questions can I ask?
Anything: product ideas, designs (upload an image), business names, pricing, life decisions, hot takes, settle-the-debate questions. You can also tweak the audience, for example "assume everyone is a parent" or "only people who earn under $50k".
Can I share my results?
Every report gets a public link you can share anywhere. You can flip a report to private after it is created if you prefer.
How accurate is a synthetic focus group?
AI personas are good at surfacing the range of reactions, objections, and questions real audiences raise, and research on synthetic panels shows useful directional alignment with human surveys. They are not a substitute for talking to real customers before high-stakes decisions.
